Description: Remote start, you will drive approx. 3 miles to start near the Aspen Trail. No rest rooms, dogs must be leashed. A beautiful walk through Portland's spectacular Forest Park. Almost all of this walk is on the Wildwood and other trails through a portion of Forest Park. It's hard to imagine that you are so close to, actually in, a major city as you walk through this magnificent gem that is a part of Portland. The walk starts and finishes from a street in the hills of NW Portland with it's beautiful homes and views. This is not just another city walk as it allows the walker to experience the feel of the forest within a city.

Location: REI- Downtown Portland
Start Point / Driving Directions: REI, 1405 NW Johnson St., Portland
I-5 Southbound take the I-405 to exit 302B toward Beaverton/US-30 W/St. Helens. Merge onto I-405 S. Take exit 2B toward Everett St.. Stay straight to NW 16th Ave. Turn Left on NW Everett. Turn Left on NW 14th Ave. Parking in REI's parking structure, entering from Johnson St.
